NGCA Competes in Second Mountain Bike Race.
North GA Christian Academy competed in their second Georgia Cycling Association mountain bike race on September 24th. 7th grade rider, Lucy Nell Alonso, overcame a hard crash nearing the final sprint out of the woods,
improving her placement by one spot despite the difficulty. Also, for the second time in as many races, Alonso earned first place (female- overall) in the USA Cycling sponsored Skills Competition. 10th grader Lazarus Alonso rode hard in the competitive 82-man JV 2 category, rolling to a 64th place finish over the 10.8 mile event.
NGCA will compete in their third race on October 8th in Jackson, Georgia. The Dauset Trail system will host the event, dubbed the “Duel at Dauset”.
